Women of ancient Rome and Greece are known for their regency hairstyles, which looked very soft and romantic. They were mainly seen from 1800 to 1820 and they were very successful in establishing a style statement of the era. If you want to bring to life such regency hairstyles, this is what you should do. |
- At first, you should brush your hair properly and should not leave any tangles in it. Your hairs should be properly parted right in the middle with the help of the end of the comb until the very end of your head that touches the back part of the neck.
- After that, you will comb your hair in such a way that they are divided in four parts. One horizontal partition should be made across your head and small amount of hair should be left out along your ear so that the band can be placed properly.
- Start braiding your hair towards your back in a loose manner so that the partition should not be distinctly visible. It should be tied at the end with neat hair bands.
- Coil up one of the braids just below your crown in a loose manner to form a bun but it should not be very tight. The other braid should be coiled around the previous bun in a very tight manner and it should be neatly pinned so that it becomes very stable.
- The horizontal partition need to be separated with a band neatly. After that, the hair present in front of ear should be properly brushed in such a manner that the band can be hidden to an extent below the band of the hair.

The braids present in the front should be smoothened and then pulled backwards. They should be held loose so that the hairstyle looks voluminous. The band of the hair should move along the head properly and then with the help of a pin it should be attached to the bun at the back. The same should be done with the other braid of hair also. |
Tips and warning
The bun made at the back is generally done in the same manner for all kinds of hair. Nevertheless, when it comes to the front layer of hair, they can be fashioned differently based on the kind and length of the hair. You can keep them simple or even style them up before curling inside the bun.
