Priyadarshini launched Mineral in Mumbai

Priyadarshini Rao has taken another step in the expansion of her creative outlet by opening a store for her brand, “mineral”, in Mumbai. The shop front has been designed by taking in wooden panels interspersing the glazing on the front in a criss-cross design, just like an old European store.

There is a classic vintage touch to the 700 sq feet store, which is common in its entire predecessor. Natural fabrics and naturally occurring color palettes are put to use for the purpose of manufacturing garments under the label of Mineral. “I have always felt that the high street in India must have a brand that lures a woman out of her comfort zone and tempts her to try something that is not routinely served by all brands. With a high level of women coming back to buy Mineral, we are sure this is the beginning of a new chapter in Indian fashion” Priyadarshini Rao said.
