Swapnil Shinde’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection titled Speed wrote the endnote of Day 3 of the recently concluded fashion week. |

The theme was based on speed of sound - more specifically, the ripple effect created by sound waves. It was presented by Gitanjali. Varieties of colors were used in the collection and they ranged from ivory, jet black, warm grey, nude and a shock of yellow. The different ranges of attires included silhouettes - from tops and short dresses, to evening gowns and jackets. There were many shoulder pads, boxy trousers, boleros and Madonnainspired PVC outfits on show as the basic and popular aim of Bollywood now a day is bring to life the fashion of 80s. |
Swapnil walked the ramp (after showstopper VJ Mia), toting a backpack and wearing super ripped jeans and that can be considered as the most dramatic moment of the whole show which was inherently different from many of its contemporary.
