1.) Fruits and Vegetables

Fruits and vegetables are quite essential for the proper development of our body cells. Along with, they also help us to keep hair healthy and strong. Vegetables, particularly the leafy one are quite essential in this regard, such as broccoli, seaweed, spinach, Swiss chard, etc. are quite rich in minerals. Vitamin E is quite essential for hairs, as it makes them strong and shinier as well. Avocados are quite rich in vitamin E. On the other hand, legumes like beans and lentils are excellent for promoting hair growth, as they contain zinc, biotin, and iron as well. It is also necessary to take proper care of the scalp. And, carrots are storehouse of vitamin A, which is quite beneficial for the scalp. If you suffer from hair breakage problem, then silica rich foods can certainly help you, such as parsnips, lettuce, onions, asparagus, cabbage, strawberries, leeks, cucumbers, cauliflowers, rhubarb, and celery.

2.) Meats and Fish

Apart from the nutrients mentioned above, you should also include hair nutrient food in your diet, which are rich in protein. And, there is no doubt that fish and meats are the perfect source of protein. You can go for the salmon fish that not just contains protein in high quantity, but are also quite rich source of omega-3 fatty acids, iron, and vitamin B-12 as well. Each one of them is beneficial for your hair. Some of the rich sources of Omega-3 fatty acids are sardines, tuna, salmon, trout, mackerel, and herring. Liver, lamb, and beef are good source of protein, and they are good storehouse of antioxidant zinc as well. Antioxidants add beauty to the hair.


3.) Nuts, Soy, Etc.

Soy has always been one of the most recommended health foods by the nutritionist from all over the world. It is not only healthy for our body, but for the growth of our hair as well. Soy milk and tofu contains high soy protein in high quantity, which makes hair stronger and healthier. It is a known fact that our hair is primarily made up of proteins. Therefore, we should try to include foods that are rich in protein. Eggs, low fat cheese, yogurt, brewer’s yeast, granulated lecithin, wheat germ, etc. are some of the best sources of protein. Other than them, nuts, pecans, walnuts, almonds, etc contain selenium that keeps our scalp healthy.
